Whether within walking distance or a short drive of all major resort hotels, diehard shoppers will encounter vast malls. The malls in Las Vegas display quite a wide range of products that satisfy the appetite of those in search of wonderful bargains, choice eateries, carefree afternoon entertainment, casual or fine attire, domestic and imported merchandise, famous brand names, fine art, individual couture creations, selected diamonds and first class gold.

The Forum Shops at Caesars

In the Forum Shops, patrons stroll through a wonderful replica of the ancient streets of Rome viewing treasures on display by international houses of fashion. Shoppers can relax beside an ornate fountain paying homage to Zeus and enjoy cool Mediterranean "breezes" within the temperature-controlled environment.

Shoppers can also witness the hourly performance of Bacchus and his court of Roman gods as the stone-like statues move and talk amid a display of laser lights. The Forum Shops, which face the Las Vegas Strip on Caesar's Palace Hotel property, originally opened with more than 70 store and restaurant fronts encompassing a quarter million square feet of shopping paradise. Construction which was completed in the spring of 1997 added a parking garage, 37 stores and two restaurants. The most recent addition expanded the extraordinary Forum Shops to 533,000 square feet on 12 store packed acres.

The centerpiece of the new construction, a hall 160 feet in diameter with an 85-foot-high ceiling, features a display called "Atlantis" with animatronic figures. The mall maintains its ancient Roman theme with classic columns and arches, ornate fountains and classic statuary.

Today, the single level of shopping at the Forum Shops offers a valet parking entrance with a video arcade on a sub-level. It features such stores as Louis Vuitton, Plaza Escada, Gucci, Guess and Christian Dior. The newest addition includes mezzanine levels in many of the tenant spaces.  The Forum Shops also host outlets such as FAO Schwartz, Nike Town, Virgin Records Mega store, Fendi, Polo, Hugo Boss and Wolfgang Puck's Asian Cafe.
